Obverse (Liberty side): The hair waves above the forehead and over the ear show moderate wear with some flattening, but delicate strands and separations are still visible (e.g., lines trailing behind the ear and into the coronet spikes remain partially defined). The cheek and neck exhibit noticeable smoothing from circulation, though not completely flat. The date “1922” and motto “IN GOD WE TRUST” are bold and fully legible without merging into the rim.
• Reverse (eagle side): Major feather details on the wings and legs are present and identifiable but smoothed in places, with the top row of wing feathers showing some merging and the neck feathers distinct from the body. The eagle’s head has minor flatness around the eye area. “PEACE” at the bottom is complete and clear, with slight wear on the tops of the letters but no significant fading. Sun rays are weakened but still discernible.
