Kobe 5 Protro "Alternate Bruce Lee"

The Nike Kobe 5 Protro “Alternate Bruce Lee” is a second Bruce Lee inspired colorway of Kobe Bryant’s fifth signature performance basketball shoe with Nike. Released by Nike Basketball in November 2020, the “Alternate Bruce Lee” colorway joins the initial yellow-based “Bruce Lee” design in linking two legends in their respective fields on Bryant’s popular hoops shoe. Whereas the “Bruce Lee” features the predominantly yellow look, the “Alternate Bruce Lee” displays a black base on the perforated toe and smooth mid-panel. Contrasting white overlays on the forefoot and eyelets balance the look and allow for the black accenting to garner attention. A red outlined white Swoosh logo can be found on either side. Additional branding appears in the form of Bryant’s signature in yellow text on the white TPU clip on the heel and the “Sheath” branding on the white tongue. White mesh detailing covers the heel and red scratch marks near the toe are in reference to the movie “Enter the Dragon” that Lee starred in. Release date: November 24, 2020. Alternate Bruce Lee
