This is a set of six Libbey “ Celestial” tumblers that feature a deep cobalt blue glass with 22k gold stars.
Libbey produced their cobalt Celestial glasses during the 1990s and also between 2006 and 2007. The 1990s glasses were popularized by the TV show “Friends”. These are the original 1990s glasses. The later production run, from 2006 to 2007, featured a similar design with cobalt blue glass and yellow suns, moons and stars.
These glasses are an excellent condition. The gold is 99% intact. There may be a few little spots here and there where a flecks of gold has worn off, but nothing egregious.
These glasses measure 6” tall and 2 3/4” at the mouth.
