The threading die must screw onto the entire length of the workpiece's thread by hand, without excessive force. If this isn't possible, the thread doesn't meet the required standards (defective). The reference temperature for parts and gauges is 20°C. Upon request, VÖLKEL can provide a factory calibration certificate. Calibration is performed in an independent lab following specified standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI) on IAC thread scanners.
- Manual Threading: The Gewindelehrring should screw onto the entire length of the workpiece's thread by hand, without excessive force
- Thread Quality Check: If the Gewindelehrring cannot be screwed on, the thread does not meet the desired standards (rejected)
- Reference Temperature: The workpiece and gauges are calibrated at a reference temperature of 20°C
- Calibration Services: VÖLKEL offers on-request Werkskalibrierschein. Independent lab calibration follows set norms (DIN, ISO, ANSI) using IAC-Gewindescanner
